First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Lightly oil a loaf pan and set it aside. In a nonstick skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat and sauté yellow onions with a pinch of salt until they start to turn golden, about 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in 3 cloves of crushed garlic and 2 teaspoons of grated fresh ginger, and cook for 1 minute more.
Remove the skillet from heat and let it cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
