Get ready for the most epic game-day snack ever – dry-rubbed baked chicken wings that will make you forget all about deep-frying and sauce!

Who needs the big game when you can have the big flavor? These baked chicken wings are the perfect combination of spicy, savory, and sweet, all in one delicious package. And the best part? They’re ridiculously easy to make!

First, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). While that’s heating up, let’s get started on the dry rub. In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons chili powder, 1 tablespoon ground cumin, 1 tablespoon smoked paprika, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon onion powder, 1 tablespoon salt, and 1/2 tablespoon black pepper.

Now it’s time to get your wings ready. Rinse 2 pounds chicken wings and pat them dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the wings with 2 tablespoons olive oil until they’re evenly coated. Then, sprinkle the dry rub all over the wings, making sure they’re fully covered.

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. Arrange the wings on the baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 45 minutes, or until cooked through.

While the wings are baking, let’s make the creamy gorgonzola dipping sauce. In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Stir in 1/4 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese until smooth.

Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve hot with the creamy gorgonzola dipping sauce and enjoy!
