Crispy Breaded Air Fryer Pork Chops

Prep: 15 minutes
Cook: 10 minutes
Yields: 4 servings

Get ready to sink your teeth into the crispiest, juiciest pork chops of your life, all thanks to the magic of the air fryer!

Imagine a world where you can indulge in tender, flavorful pork chops without the hassle of deep-frying. Sounds like a dream come true, right? Well, today we’re making that dream a reality with these mouth-watering breaded air fryer pork chops!

First things first, preheat that air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). While that’s heating up, place your pork chops on a plate and give them a good coating of Cajun seasoning on both sides. Don’t be shy – you want that flavor to pop!

Now it’s time to get your breading station ready. Pulse those cheese and garlic croutons in a small food processor until they’re nice and fine. Transfer them to a shallow dish, and lightly beat some eggs in a separate shallow dish. You’re getting close to pork chop perfection!

Working one at a time, dip each pork chop into the beaten egg, letting any excess drip off. Then, press that chop into the crouton breading to coat both sides evenly. Place the breaded chop on a plate, and repeat with the remaining chops. Don’t forget to mist them with some cooking spray – you want that crispy exterior!

Now it’s time to cook those chops. Spray the air fryer basket with some cooking spray, and arrange the chops in a single layer. You might need to do two batches depending on the size of your air fryer, but don’t worry, it’s worth the wait!

Cook the chops in the preheated air fryer for 5 minutes, then flip them and mist with cooking spray if there are any dry areas. Cook for another 5 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of the chops reads 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).

And that’s it! Your breaded air fryer pork chops are ready to devour. Serve them hot and enjoy the ooohs and ahhhs from your family and friends.

Want to mix things up? Try using different flavors of croutons for a unique twist. And if you’re cooking for a crowd, keep those chops warm in the oven on the lowest setting while you air fry the remaining ones.
