Let’s get stuffing! We’re making ground turkey stuffed peppers and they’re going to be so tasty, your taste buds will sing!
First, grab six vibrant bell peppers and give them a little makeover. Cut off their tops, scoop out the insides, and make sure they stand tall like tiny vegetable soldiers!
Next, we’re creating a scrumptious filling. Start by chopping up an onion and some of those reserved pepper tops. Sauté them in some olive oil until they’re tender and have a beautiful golden glow.

Now, add some minced garlic and a dash of hoagie spread. Stir them in and let the aromas dance in the air.
Pour in a can of tomato sauce and let it simmer until it’s thickened and packed with flavor. Remember, a good sauce is the heart of these stuffed peppers, so don’t skimp on it!

In a big bowl, let’s combine ground turkey with precooked rice, shredded Italian cheese, Italian seasoning, some more hoagie spread, and a sprinkle of salt. It’s time to give these peppers a flavorful makeover!
Carefully spoon the filling into the peppers and place them on top of the remaining tomato sauce in a skillet. Time to cozy up, peppers! Cover them with foil and bake them in the oven until they’re tender and the sauce has thickened.

Once those peppers are out of the oven, take off the foil and sprinkle some more tomato sauce on top. You can never have too much sauce, right?
Bake them again until the sauce thickens and the turkey mixture reaches a safe internal temperature. It’s time for the ultimate taste test!

Let them cool for a bit and then grab a fork. Bite into these stuffed peppers and let the flavors explode in your mouth. The meaty turkey, the fluffy rice, the savory sauce…it’s a party for your taste buds!
