Boxed Mix Brownies, From Scratch

Prep: 15 minutes
Cook: 45 minutes
Yields: 4 servings

Get ready to indulge in the most epic brownie extravaganza of your life!

Today, we’re diving into the world of rich, fudgy, and utterly decadent brownies, and trust me, you won’t want to miss this!

Imagine sinking your teeth into a velvety-smooth, intensely chocolatey treat that’s so good, it’ll make you forget all about those boring, store-bought brownies.

First, preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Yes, it’s time to get this brownie party started!

Next, mix together the dry ingredients in a medium bowl. You know, the usual suspects: sugar, flour, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, and salt. It’s like a party in your mouth just thinking about it!

Then, whisk together the wet ingredients in a large bowl. Eggs, olive oil, and water – the perfect trio to bring these brownies to life!

Now it’s time to combine the wet and dry ingredients. Sprinkle the dry mixture over the wet one, and fold until just combined. Don’t overmix, or you’ll end up with tough brownies. And nobody likes tough brownies!

Pour the batter into an 8×8 inch baking pan lined with parchment paper. Use a rubber spatula to spread it to all four sides of the pan and to smooth the top. It’s like giving your brownies a little massage to help them relax into their deliciousness.

Finally, bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few crumbs attached. Allow the brownies to cool completely before slicing and serving. And then, get ready for the ooohs and ahhhs from your friends and family!

Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Or, you know, just devour them all in one sitting. We won’t judge!
